TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP

There are two things that define leadership for me:

PEOPLE BUY. PEOPLE SELL.

The most important but often overlooked aspect in business is people. People rarely make rational choices in life. Because our needs and desires are governed by many factors, many of which are hard to measure. BUT cracking the code of 'understanding your customer' in terms of humans and not mere customers will always provide new opportunities to expand the business. I believe in strategies that are customer-centric which often require deep customer insights. Simon Sinek in this TED talk below shares an enlightening thought for why we(business and consumers) connect with each other.

BOTTOMLINE.

This is perhaps my most favourite word in business. I believe in undertaking a results-oriented approach to everything. This is reflected in both my academic and professional pursuits. I achieved a rank of 13/1000 students in B.Tech, attained 400% growth as a fellow with TFI,  raised $1045 funds, led department with 100% growth as Executive Officer.

Soledad O'Brien Harvard Commencement Speech. This is a wonderful video about having the courage to follow your dreams and having conversations with other people when you can't seem to understand their point of view as it is the only way to bridge the gap.

This wonderful TED talk by Simon Sinek talks about the fundamental reason and way to connect with your customer - Ask, know and tell 'Why' first.
